Bernia

This walk has a lot to offer. You start high up in Altea la Vella at the Font Runar. First you pass a fresh water spring and the remains of a Moorish castle on top of the mountain. It´s interesting to see the hustle and bustle of the coast below and just a few minutes later the peace of the mountains.

Most spectacular experience is the tunnel you go through after a steep climb. Always keep an eye on the weatherconditions as the top is sometimes covered in clouds which means you´ll miss the views.
